Original 1st printing 20 x 28" art print created by (and SIGNED in gold paint pen in pencil by) the legendary Stanley Mouse for Portal Publications of Corte Madera, CA. "Led Zeppelin" dates from 1977, is printed on medium glossy stock and is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a light to moderate degree of surface scuffing, a semi-pronounced curl to the paper (poster was rolled up for a long time) and a couple of VERY tiny pinch/stress bends, otherwise it's a really nice-looking example of this GORGEOUS Mouse image with a nice big gold signature. According to Mouse, the poster company (Portal) never had the proper permission to print these up, which might explain why they turn up so infrequently.

Regarding these conditions: "a light to moderate degree of surface scuffing, a semi-pronounced curl to the paper (poster was rolled up for a long time) and a couple of VERY tiny pinch/stress bends;" where is the scuffing and is the curl likely permanent or has it improved when laid flat? How noticable would the curl be if framed? posted by: Barney 10/22/2012 5:53:32 AM
