Original 1st (Big O Posters) printing 27&3/4 x 36&1/2" art poster by legendary Australian artist (and Cream co-conspirator) Martin Sharp featuring a psychedelically-enhanced portrait (based on a 1967 Linda Eastman (McCartney) photo) of the one and only Jimi Hendrix, originally commissioned in 1968 for UK underground magazine, "OZ". Medium-thick glossy stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there's a series of very well-camouflaged tack/pin holes (taped on the reverse with clear tape) in all four corners and a few within the image and around the edges, a couple of areas in the upper left have been partially restored to cover up a series of tiny pulls and a cracked areas (these are pretty well hidden within the design), there's a series of slight horizontal/diagonal bends in the lower left margin and a few little vertical stress bends, otherwise it's a fine-looking example of one of the most powerful Hendrix images ever committed to paper. This one would look great framed up.
