Original 1st printing 10 x 15&1/2" double-sided aluminum printing plate and accompanying 8&1/2 x 11" concert/event flyer for the San Francisco State University homecoming "Edwardian Ball", held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 11/6/1966, featuring Jefferson Airplane and Demon Lover. Art by (plate SIGNED in silver ink by), Stanley Mouse, image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series (this show falls on the same date as the final show of the BG 35 Muddy Waters show), and is featured on page 154 of the Art of Rock book (plate 2.81). Thin aluminum printing plate has the usual signs of press room use- small bends, ink smudges and a stray tiny moisture stain or two, but since it's a one-of-a-kind press mechanical, the damage/wear is negligible... thin flat stock flyer is in absolutely stunning mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; a slight edge curl and a tiny handling ding or two, but it's basically as sharp as they come. A really cool and unique pair of Mouse items, these would look great framed up together.
