Original 1st printing (Bindweed Press) 14&1/8 x 19&7/8" concert/event poster for "THIS IS IT", a show held at the Regency Ballroom of the Leamington Hotel in Oakland, CA on 2/10/1967, featuring appearances by the Sparrow (an early version of Steppenwolf), along with the Immediate Family, the Wildflower and the Living Children. Art by Stanley Mouse (who also SIGNED the poster in pencil in the lower right margin) and Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 211 (plate 2.261). Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a set of staple holes in the four corners and a couple more scattered across the bottom margin, a light degree of handling, a series of VERY soft horizontal roll bends (really only visible on the reverse), a couple of light stains and small fingerprint smudges in the right margin, a few stray pinch dings and tiny stress creases and a trace of pencil scratch on the reverse, otherwise a very bright and vibrant example of this oddball Mouse/Kelley poster from the AOR with a nice large Mouse signature.
