Original 1st printing 15&3/8 x 22&1/4" concert poster for the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service at Governor's Hall in Sacramento, CA on 12/28/1966. Art by Ogden, image ("Vivid Vision" A/K/A "Beaux Arts Ball-Version 2") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 260 (plate 3.14). Medium-thin flat index stock poster is in absolutely gorgeous mint/near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; a tiny edge ding in the lower right margin and an ultra-light amount of handling wear (a stray pinch ding or two), otherwise fine. An overall FANTASTIC-looking example of this oddball regional Dead/Quicksilver poster with very strong colors and a totally bizarre design. One of the last Dead shows of '66.... where's the tapes?!
