Original 1st printing 11 x 17" event/concert poster for a benefit for "Extra!", a student-operated underground newspaper published by a student group of Rhode Island College (the "Ad-Hoc Commitee of the Campus Action Council"), held at the R.I.C. Student Center in Providence, R.I. on 5/2/1969. Design by the Mad Peck, poster lists a performance/appearance by an act called "Ralph & Wash", and features a psychedelicized reverse-image photo of the Andrews Sisters by noted portrait photographer James Kriegsmann. Medium flat index stock poster is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a tiny soft 1" bend and a tiny edge nip in the upper right corner, it's as crisp as can be. Totally cool and weird-looking oddball New England poster by the ever-elusive Mad Peck. |
