Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 22&5/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead with the New Riders of the Purple Sage at the Portland (OR) Memorial Coliseum on 5/3/1973 (show was canceled/rescheduled for 6/24/1973). Design by/show presented by Pacific Presentations, a similar image (from UCSB in Santa Barbara) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 369 (plate 4.114). Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a 3/4" tear and light creasing in the top right margin, a moderate amount of edge wear (small bends, a stain in the bottom center, several tiny tears, creasing), a few scattered handling dings and stray tiny surface smudges, otherwise fine. An overall fine-looking original mid-'70's Dead poster with a nice photo of Jerry and the boys.
