Original 1st printing 17&5/8 x 22&5/8" event poster for the San Jose State "Spring-In", held at Spartan Stadium on the campus of S.J.S.U. on 5/16/1970. Single-day University-sponsored "festival" featured performances by Albert King, Les McCann, the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, Country Joe & the Fish, Canned Heat, South Bay Experimental Flash, Southern Comfort and more. Art by J. McKinley, thin flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a set of pin/tack holes (all four corners), minor handling/light edge creasing and a trace of surface wear (a few small scattered age spots), otherwise fine. Very whimsical design on this one... a very cool/unique poster from a pretty eclectic and obscure event with a really unusual lineup.
