Original 1st printing 12 x 17&1/2" silver foil silk-screened concert poster for Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention (featuring Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan (Flo & Eddie)) at the Beloit (WI) College Field House on 10/24/1970. Art by "MSDS", hand silk-screened (likely in the campus art department) thick silver foil stock poster is in decent/used (B-) condition; a fairly moderate degree of handling/creasing, a series of 5-6 hard horizontal roll bends, surface wear/scuffing, slight bubbling/blistering over "1970" and in the lower left edge, bits of fossilized masking tape on the reverse, etc... this one was definitely hung up at the time. Conditional issues aside, this is a REALLY wild-looking regional Zappa concert poster with an awesome design. With all the attention paid to foil posters these days, it's real interesting to see how some of the earlier experiments came off. This one in particular is VERY cool.
