Original 1st printing 17 x 22" concert/event poster for the 11/26/1966 "Turkey Blimp", a Thanksgiving-themed happening featuring local bands The City Lights, the Hobbit and the L.A. Tymes at the Lynch Building in Santa Monica, CA. Art by Peter Leaf/Lynch Mob, the image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 271 (plate 3.57). Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a few small horizontal stress creases/light roll bends, scattered handling dings/light creases, a few staple holes and a small scuff in the top left corner and a tiny surface scrape or two, otherwise fine. VERY weird (and very uncommon) regional Southern California AOR poster with a really neat graphic. 1st one of these I've had.
