Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for the Charles Lloyd Quartet with West Coast Natural Gas Co. at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 8/3-6/1967. Art by Bob Fried, image is number 74 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. Medium flat index stock poster is in excellent to near mint (B+) condition; aside from a small area of browning/discoloration in the extreme lower right corner and one or two surface scuffs/dings and a tiny pen scratch on the reverse, it's as nice as one can ask for. Beautiful mid-period Bob Fried Family Dog image. This piece comes from the collection of Sanford Tucker, proprietor of the legendary "Sanford's" and "Velvet Underground" clothing stores of San Francisco.
