 ITEM DESCRIPTION
Original 1st printing 5&1/8 x 7&3/4" blank-reverse thin-paper concert handbill for "the Big "O", the one and only Otis Redding (and His Orchestra) appearing with the Grateful Dead, Johnny Talbot and De Thangs and Country Joe & the Fish at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 12/20-22/1966.

Art by Boonnie MacLean, image is an alternate to # 43 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series, and is pictured in the Art of Rock on page 145 (plate 2.44)

Thin flat index stock handbill is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; only a couple of tiny pin holes in the top left/right corners, a nearly-invisible handling ding or two and a tiny pin-prick spot on the reverse, otherwise it is a STUNNING example of this semi-uncommon alternate-image handbill from the BG 43 shows.
