Collection of four (4) original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert/event-related items (concert flyer, site map/info sheet, highway map and vendor agreement) for the Goose Lake Festival, held in Jackson, MI from 8/7-9/1970. Design by Gary Grimshaw (not credited), event flyer lists festival participants Small Faces (with Ron Wood and Rod Stewart), Ten Years After, Chicago, John Sebastian,New York Rock & Roll Ensemble, SRC, Mighty Quick and John Drake Shakedown, (8/7), Jethro Tull, Mountain, Flying Burrito Brothers, the Litter, the Stooges (with Iggy Pop), 3rd Power and Brownsville Station (8/8) and Jethro Tull (again), Savage Grace, the Flock, Bob Seger, Detroit (featuring Mitch Ryder), Alice Cooper, James Gang (with Joe Walsh), Frost and Suite Charity (8/9). Thin flat stock flyers are in mostly in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; as they were mailed to the vendor (a young lady selling shirts), all have horizontal machine creases (items were folded into 1/3rds and mailed in a #10 envelope), along with handling wear, a few tiny edge splits and other relatively minor amounts of wear, but they are all in fairly decent shape, all told. FASCINATING collection of original paper from this semi-obscure 1970 Michigan event.
