Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 11" concert poster for the Velvet Underground (with Lou Reed) appearing with the Chambers Brothers and Dr. John at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles, CA from 5/24-25/1968.

 Art by John Van Hamersveld, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 254.

 Thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are slight amounts of toning along the left/right/bottom margins, along with a couple of slightly soft corner tips, a light amount of surface dirt and a thin hairline bend in the lower left margin/edge, otherwise fine.

 Very cool-looking (and not easy to find) mid-'68 V.U. poster from the Pinnacle Shrine series.
