Original 1st printing 14 x 24&5/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 12/30-31/1966.
Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 37 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (OP-1 in the Eric King guide).
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; the upper right margin has a couple of small 1st printing example of this pressure creases and a 1/4" wedge tear, along with a couple of clear tape remnants in all four corners, top/bottom center margin, a few thin diagonal edge bends, a series of light handling dings throughout, a number of tiny edge dings going around the outer border area, a few semi-soft bends scattered around the outer border area, a thin bend/pressure crease on the "e" of "Year", a couple of light pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine- all of this sounds much worse than the poster actually appears.
A nice moderately aged example of the very first Fillmore New Year's poster.
