Original 1st printing 23&1/8 x 34&3/8" concert poster for the Who performing their rock opera "Tommy" at the Fillmore East in New York, NY from 10/20-25/1969.

 Art by David Edward Byrd, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 158 (plate 2.94) and is image # 10 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series.

 Medium-thin glossy stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a number of tiny edge tears/thin creases scattered along the left/right margins (a common trait with this poster) and a few stray handling dings/tiny stress creases hiding within the image area, otherwise it is an absolutely FANTASTIC example of this oft-requested Who poster from the fondly-remembered Fall 1969 "Tommy" shows. 

 These were the first shows where the band performed the ENTIRE suite of songs for U.S. audiences.
