Original 1st printing 23 x 29" uncut proof sheet (concert poster + (4) handbills/cards) for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with Albert King and the Pacific Gas & Electric at the Shrine Exposition Hall in Los Angeles, CA from 5/2-4/1968.
Art by Rick Griffin with Victor Moscoso (whom has also SIGNED the sheet in black), image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 277 (plate 3.69).
Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock sheet is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are a number of light thin hairline bends/handling creases around the outer margin area, along with a 3&1/2" tear in the right center margin, a 1" tear in the lower left margin, a few light handling dings and tiny hairline creases scattered around the image area and a light surface scuff or two, otherwise fine. Most of the conditional issues on this one are limited to the outer margin area, the main body of the piece looks GREAT.
REALLY cool-looking original uncut proof sheet by two of the undisputed masters of the genre.
