Original 1st printing 17&3/4 x 27&1/2” concert/event poster for the “Churubusco Live-In”, a three-day festival which was to scheduled to happen over the 1970 Memorial Day weekend (5/29-31) in Churubusco (Clinton County), NY.

 Poster lists appearances by Sly & the Family Stone, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Canned Heat, Three Dog Night, B.B. King, Richie Havens, Steppenwolf, Frijid Pink, the Allman Brothers Band (with Duane Allman), Elephant's Memory, Charmen of the Board, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Little Richard, Steam, Frost, Wilbert Harison and (hand-written additions at top) James Taylor, John Sebastian, Johnny Winter and the Kinks)

 Design by Viteritti, medium flat vellum stock poster is in decent/used (B-) condition; in addition to the previously-mentioned hand-written notations (in faded blue magic marker), there is a 1&1/2" horizontal edge tear in the right center margin (taped on the reverse), along with a series of fairly pronounced stress bends/creases scattered throughout the image area, a few tiny edge tears/nicks and a bit of tattering along the upper left and top margins, a series of light pin-prick surface stains hiding within the image area (mostly in the cloud at the top of the poster) and a set of mounting tape remnants on the reverse, otherwise OK.

 Conditional issues aside, this is still a pretty cool-looking multi-act/festival poster with a GREAT lineup. Read more about the event (and possibly why it was canceled) HERE;
