Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for the Jim Kweskin Jug Band (featuring Maria Muldaur) appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) and the Electric Train at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 10/7-8/1966.

 

 Art by Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse, image is # 29 in the Family Dog/Avalon series, this is the blue border/green hair version (OHB-B in the Eric King guide).

 

 Thin flat stock flyer is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a thin vertical sliver of toning/discoloring along the upper right margin, along with just a few light handling/edge dings here and there and a stray pin-prick age spot or two scattered around the outer margin area, otherwise fine.

 

 VERY NICE-looking example of this early Family Dog flyer.
