Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for a Hells Angels Motorcycle Club-sponsored dance ("It's Party Time Again!") featuring Big Brother & the Holding Company (with Janis Joplin) and Blue Cheer, held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 2/3/1967.

 

 Art by Allen "Gut" Turk, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 206 (plate 2.248). 

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a small 7/8" tear in the lower right margin/corner (sealed on the reverse), along with a few VERY soft handling dings and tiny soft pin-prick age spots hiding within the image area, a couple of ultra-tiny edge dings, a set of mounting tape remnants and a Ben Grandy Company distribution stamp on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 

 VERY nice-looking/bright 1st printing example of this increasingly hard-to-find Hells Angels image from the Art of Rock.
