Original 1st printing 17&1/2 x 23&1/4" silkscreen concert poster for Mahavishnu Orchestra (featuring John McLaughlin) appearing with the Rowan Brothers at Irvine Auditorium on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA on 12/9/1972. 

 Art by (and SIGNED and numbered 2/16 in pencil by) by Thomas Bolles, medium-thick flat vellum stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a VERY slight thin vertical scuff mark just to the right of "Mahavishnu", along with a couple of thin horizontal bends along the upper left margin/edge, a soft pinch ding or two hiding within the image area, a light amount of surface wear and a set of light tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 Cool-looking early-'70's Mahavishnu poster with a very tight design. The artist issued this poster with several different color combinations, this version features red and yellow ink on blue stock (we also have a pink-stock version listed separately).
