 ITEM DESCRIPTION
Original 1st printing 14 x 20" double-sided concert poster for the Doors appearing with the Peanut Butter Conspiracy at the Whisky A Go-Go in San Francisco, CA from 2/2-16/1967*, backed with a single pass of ink (red/orange) of "Let's Liberate Posters", a Double-H Press-printed head shop/merchandising poster from early 1967.

Artist unknown, a hand-colored version of the Doors image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 189 (plate 2.195).

Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there is a pronounced 2" diagonal bend in the upper right corner, a pair of soft surface stains in the girl's hair and just to the left of "weeks", along with a couple of thin diagonal bends/thin creases in all four corners, a thin diagonal bend in the lower left margin, a light amount of  handling/surface wear, a touch of toning and a couple of tiny pin-prick indentations scattered around the image area, otherwise fine.

Great-looking early-'67 Doors poster from the short-lived San Francisco satellite version of the Whisky A Go-Go.

(*According to the Peanut Butter Conspiracy's Alan Brackett, the Doors wound up bailing on the gig very early in the run, leaving the PBC to complete the 2-week engagement all by themselves.)
