Original 1st printing 6&7/8 x 18&1/4" promotional poster for the 1/23-25/1967 Grand Opening of "The Trans-Action", a psychedelic nightclub in San Francisco CA.

 Artist unknown (credit is impossible to make out, poster was printed by Bindweed Press), medium flat vellum stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; there is a single pin/tack hole in the top center margin, one or two tiny pin-prick surface stains hiding within the image area, a soft handling ding or two and a quartet of soft tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 VERY interesting early-'67 oddball poster from an EXTREMELY obscure (and presumably short-lived) San Francisco venue. Beautiful split-fountain ink scheme on this one!
