Original 1st printing 17 x 11" benefit (*for SCORE/Mid-Peninsula Free University) concert poster for a show held at the Frost Amphitheater on the campus of Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA on 10/5/1969.
Art by Jake Pierre, poster lists appearances by: It's A Beautiful Day, Nick Gravenites/Mike Bloomfield/Buddy Guy and the Mob, Cold Blood, Southern Comfort, Sanpaku, Old Davis, Oddessy and Stone Rock Outcrop. (*not all acts appeared)
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is a thin approximately 2 x 2&1/2" dark enamel ink drip stain in the lower left margin, along with a bit of light surface wear (light rubbing in the lower left margin), a few stray handling dings and pin-prick surface spots here and there, a couple of tiny stress bends hiding within the image area and a tiny edge ding or two, otherwise fine.
Very cool low-run oddball benefit item from Palo Alto, check out a first-hand account of the show (with photos!) HERE:
