Original 1st (black and white pre-concert) printing 22&1/2 x 17&1/2" concert poster for "BUSTED!", a benefit for the San Francisco Mime Troupe, held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 4/12/1967.
The Bill Graham-sponsored event featured performances by the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Moby Grape, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Andrew Staples and Loading Zone.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 151 (plate 2.71).
Medium flat index stock poster is in decent (B/B-) condition; there are small wedges of paper missing from the top left, bottom left and bottom right corner tips, along with a series of light splatter stains scattered around the image area, a 3" diagonal discoloration/stain in the lower left margin/corner, a series of small edge tears and stains scattered around the outer margin area, light to moderate handling wear, a fair amount of surface wear (tiny pin-prick spots, a small bit of pencil scratch in the lower right margin) and a few stains on the reverse, otherwise fine.
Additionally, this example has been HAND-SIGNED (in blue sharpie) by Jefferson Airplane co-founders Paul Kantner and Marty Balin!
