Original 1st printing 9&7/8 x 24&1/2" marquee-style concert/event banner poster for the (1st Annual) Seattle Pop Festival, held at Gold Creek Park in Woodinville, WA from 7/25-27/1969. Designer unknown, poster lists appearances by Bo Diddley, the Flying Burrito Brothers (with Gram Parsons), Ten Years After, the Guess Who, Murray Roman, Santana, the Youngbloods, Tim Buckley, It's A Beautiful Day, the Byrds, Charles Lloyd, Albert Collins, the Flock, Ike & Tina Turner, Bo Diddley, Lonnie Mack, Chicago (Transit Authority), Chuck Berry, Black Snake, Spirit, Led Zeppelin, Eric Burdon and the Flock. (*not all acts appeared, and others were subsequently added- the Doors were later signed on to headline the event). Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a bit of light surface wear (scuffs/smudges and a few soft stains) scattered around the image area/borders, light handling wear, a small 1" bend in the lower right corner, a slight horizontal roll bend going across the top margin, a hint of curling in the top/bottom margins and a bit of light pen/pencil scratch on the reverse, otherwise fine. VERY UNCOMMON marquee-style festival item from the '69 Seattle Pop Festival.. Here's a real nice-sounding soundboard recording of the Flying Burrito Brothers set; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYjL-d_jZjQ
