Original 1st printing (Double-H Press) 14 x 20" event poster for the Pitschel Players appearing in "The W.C. Fields Memorial Orphanage- An Evening of Political Satire", held at 120 Julian Street (a loft) in San Francisco, CA on ?/1967 (*no date listed- just "every Friday and Saturday Night").

 

 Artist unknown/not credited (image is an amusing take on the BG 56 Fillmore image by Wes Wilson), image (red ink) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 236 (plate 2.352).

 

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; just a pair of tiny surface pulls in the center of the image area, a bit of light handling wear and a couple of soft dark surface smudges in the left/right center margins, otherwise fine.

 

 Very tongue-in cheek nod to the San Francisco rock poster scene on this one.
