Original 1st printing 18 x 25" (most were cut down to 15&1/4 x 21") untrimmed artist's proof concert poster for the Dinosaurs (featuring John Cipollina (Quicksilver Messenger Service), Robert Hunter (Grateful Dead), Spencer Dryden (Jefferson Airplane), Peter Albin (Big Brother & the Holding Company) and Barry Melton (Country Joe & the Fish) appearing at the Kabuki Nightclub in San Francisco, CA on 4/9/1983.
Art by (and SIGNED in black pen by) Alton Kelley, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 355 (plate 4.66). Medium-thick flat index (glossy on reverse) poster is in fantastic near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; a small 1" soft bend and a tiny edge ding in the lower right corner, a trace of surface wear, a small ding in the top center margin and a few stray fingerprints/light smudges here and there, otherwise fine. Classic Kelley image from the AOR book with a nice signature and huge white borders.
