Original 1st printing 21&7/8 x 27&7/8" concert poster for the final week of shows held at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA.
Art by (and SIGNED in silver ink by) David Singer, image is # 287 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series (the last numbered poster in the original Fillmore series, the print run was supposedly limited to 500 units).
Shows listed include: Boz Scaggs appearing with Cold Blood, The Flamin' Groovies and Stoneground (6/30), It's A Beautiful Day appearing with the Elvin Bishop Group, Grootna and Lamb (7/1), the Grateful Dead appearing with The New Riders of the Purple Sage and The Rowan Brothers (7/2), Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with Hot Tuna (featuring Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane) and Yogi Phlegm/the Sons (7/3) and Santana appearing with Creedence Clearwater Revival and Tower of Power (7/4).
Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in BEAUTIFUL near mint (A-/B+) condition; aside from a few ultra-soft handling dings and ultra-light surface scratches/fingerprint smudges hiding within the image area and a tiny edge/corner ding or two, this example sits right at the top of the conditional heap.
An absolutely GORGEOUS ARTIST-SIGNED 1st printing example of one of David Singer's most memorable and popular Fillmore designs.
