Original 1st printing/final state (final lineup/red "Pop Festival" lettering) 17&3/8 x 23" concert/event poster for the 8/31-9/1/1969 New Orleans Pop Festival, held at the Baton Rouge International Raceway in Prairieville, LA.

 Art by St. Germain, this version of the poster lists festival participants Canned Heat, Chicago Transit Authority, Janis Joplin, the Byrds, Grateful Dead, Oliver, Iron Butterfly, Country Joe & the Fish, It's A Beautiful Day, Santana, the Youngbloods, Dr. John the Night Tripper and Tyrannosaurus Rex (featuring Marc Bolan), a "Custom Bike Show", "Heavy Fireworks Display" and more. Not listed (but did appear): Jefferson Airplane (with Glen McKay's Headlights), Lee Michaels, Sweetwater, Cat Mother and a host of local acts.

 Thin glossy stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; a series of tiny nicks and tears scattered around the outer margin area, a couple of semi-pronounced horizontal roll bends traversing the center of the image area, light surface wear (a few smudges and tiny pin-prick spots around the "al" of "Festival"), a series of thin stress bends and pinch/handling dings scattered around the image area and a couple of light tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine... a very decent-looking example of the hard-to-find glossy stock final state NOLA Pop poster.
