Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for "A Tribute To J. Edgar Hoover", a one-night-only event featuring the Jook Savages (featuring Rick Griffin!) appearing with Blue Cheer, Congress of Wonders and the Mojo Men at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 2/10/1967.

 

 Art by Soot Productions, image (handbill with a slightly different color scheme) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 176 (plate 2.150).

 

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are multiple staple/pin holes in each of the four corners and in the top center margin, along with a bit of light handling wear, a few stray bends and a couple of light surface marks, but overall it is in pretty nice shape.

 

 Very charming example of this strange-looking California Hall poster from the AOR.
