Original 1st printing 22&1/2 x 33&1/4" large format (there is also a smaller 15&3/4 x 23&3/8" version) tour promotional poster for the Rolling Stones 1978 "Some Girls" World Tour.
Design by Zagorski for Raindrop Productions (Rolling Stones merchandising), image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 417 (plate 4.274).
Medium-thick glossy stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a series of tiny edge creases/dings scattered up and down the left/right margin area, a few light surface scuffs, a series of well-camouflaged stress bends, tiny pinch dings and pin-prick surface spots, light handling wear, a bit of curl to the paper and a few soft moisture stains with a tiny bit of adhesive residue on the reverse, otherwise fine.
An oft-requested image from the "Some Girls" tour, these posters almost never surface; the "legend" has it that the portrait of the girl raised a bit of a stir with the Chinese government, although there is a more likely scenario that involved money and/or the band themselves. Either way, the posters were recalled and did not see widespread distribution.
