Original 1st printing 20&1/4 x 34&3/8" concert poster for legendary beat poet Allen Ginsberg appearing with the Fugs at the Cinderella Ballroom in Appleton, WI on 2/19/1968.

 Design by Moving Finger Poster Company, medium-thin flat index stock poster is in decent/used (B/B-) condition; there is a 2" tear in the top center margin, am 1&1/2" tear in the upper left margin, tack/pin holes (all four corners and scattered around the outer margin area, light handling wear, a few soft roll bends, a moderate amount of edge wear/toning (with a series of light tape shadows/stains along the top/bottom margins), a series of light surface marks, pen scribble and tape pulls on the reverse and a slight curl from being rolled, otherwise fine.

VERY, VERY uncommon low-run regional concert poster with a FASCINATING back story; it was right after this gig that the entire entourage (with friends) made their way to former Communist-baiting Senator Joe McCarthy's grave site (in Appleton) in an attempt to "exorcise" the late politician... read the whole bizarre tale HERE:
