Original 1st printing 21&1/4 x 27&1/4" concert poster for the Grateful Dead's infamous run of acoustic/electric shows held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City from 10/22-31/1980.
Art by Dennis Larkins (who has also HAND-SIGNED this example in gold ink) and Peter Barsotti, thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in GORGEOUS mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; just a couple of light fingerprint smudges here and there, otherwise it is an UNBEATABLE example of this legendary Grateful Dead image.
This poster is famous for being recalled at the time by the higher-ups at RCMH; apparently they didn't like the idea of two enormous skeletons leaning on their building and had the posters sent back; not that it mattered, the shows were all sold out (check out the photo of the ticket line) and the posters did eventually leak out.
