Pair of original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 14" flyers designed by the one and only Rick Griffin. The first, "India Ink", is for an art exhibit of black and white RG art, held at Guggenheim Gallery on the campus of Chapman College in Orange, CA from 2/8-3/14/1980. This one is on thick index stock and is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a few tiny soft surface bends/pinch dings and a bit of minor toning around the outer margin area, otherwise fine. The second flyer is for "Sing Out for Sight", a SEVA benefit concert held at the Santa Monica (CA) Civic Auditorium on 3/20/1980. Acts listed include: Country Joe McDonald, Robert Hunter, Odetta, Holly Near Kate Wolf, Wavy Gravy and "Two Male Mystery Stars" (Graham Nash and Jackson Browne). This flyer is on thin flat stock and is in similar (B+) condition to the first one- maybe with a few more handling dings here and there, but comparable. VERY uncommon pair of early 1980 Rick Griffin pieces from Southern California.
