Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 6&7/8" concert handbill, "Medicine Show", advertising a pair of appearances held at the Old Warehouse in San Rafael, CA, featuring the Jook Savages and the Vast Majority on 5/12/1967 and the (Amazing) Charlatans appearing with the Old Grey Zipper on 5/13/1967.

 Art by Rick Griffin, image (full color poster) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 221 (plate 2.300). This is the thin-stock monochrome handbill.

 Thin flat stock handbill is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a semi-flattened vertical creases, a couple of tiny pin-prick splatter stains in the lower right margin, a tiny soft drip stain above the "h" of "Show" and a couple of ultra-soft handling dings here and there, otherwise fine.

 While the poster from this event turns up with some regularity, the handbill is a different story altogether. VERY hard-to-find Rick Griffin item.
