Original 1st printing 15 x 22&1/2" concert poster for the MC5 headlining two weekends of December 1966 shows at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI. Appearing with the '5; Green Grass Blues (12/22), with Urban Roots on (12/23), Black & Blues Band (12/29), Taboos (12/30) and a big New Year's Eve show with Thyme, Cosmic Expanding and Poor Souls (12/31) Art by Gary Grimshaw, image is # 10 in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series. Medium flat vellum stock poster is in BEAUTIFUL near mint (A-) condition; with the exception of a few fairly negligible handling dings scattered around the outer margin area and a stray pinch ding or two hiding within the image area, this example looks like it just rolled off the press... an EXTREMELY nice-looking specimen. One of Grimshaw's earliest Grande Ballroom images, complete with the original "Uncle Russ Travel Agency" logo. VERY cool-looking ORIGINAL 1st printing 1966 Grande poster in GORGEOUS condition.
