Original 1st printing 22&1/2 x 28&1/2" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the New Riders of the Purple Sage and Ox (featuring Jon Paris) at the New Expo Convention Center in Milwaukee, WI on 3/21/1971. Designer unknown/not credited, thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is an approximately 1&1/2 x 8" soft moisture stain/light discoloration along the right center margin, a series of light surface scuffs/thin scratches scattered around the image area, light handling wear, a tiny 1/4" tear in the upper left margin and a trace of edge wear, otherwise fine. An overall SUPERB example of this low-run extra-large Grateful Dead concert poster from the spring '71 tour. According to several attendees, the show was VERY oversold, in part due to the number of fake tickets circulating.
