Original 1st printing 13&5/8 x 19&3/4" concert/event poster for "Bedrock One", a benefit for the Communications Company (publishers of the Diggers' Haight-Ashbury neighborhood newsletters), held at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 3/5/1967. Participants/performers included the San Francisco Mime Troupe, the Committee, the Steve Miller (Blues) Band, the Orkustra, Dino Valenti and more.

 

 Artist unknown, thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; a tiny set of pin/staple holes in each corner, a series of ultra-soft handling dings and a well-camouflaged thin vertical stress crease or two hiding within the image area, a hint of edge/corner wear plus a few light tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 

 VERY trippy San Francisco poster from a really interesting (psychedelically-enhanced) early-'67 Digger event. The handbill image can be seen in in the Art of Rock book on page 177.
