Original 8 x 12&1/2" (approximately- top right corner is missing about an 2 x 3" chunk of paper) graphite pencil artwork on tracing paper (matted and framed under UV plexiglas to 17&1/2 x 22&1/4" total size) for the updated (second) cover (additional artwork along the bottom) of Volume 1 of the Fillmore East program series (used from late January-December of 1969).
Design by (and SIGNED and dated 1969 in pencil by) David Edward Byrd (lower right corner), artwork is in fine shape- aside from the aforementioned missing paper, there are a few tiny surface smudges here and there, David's hand-written production notes in the right center margin/lower right corner and a tiny scratch on the plexiglas, otherwise fine. A letter grade doesn't really apply here, as this is a one-of-a-kind piece of production material.
ICONIC ORIGINAL 1969 David Byrd artwork for the VERY FIRST Fillmore program, the only one in existence!
