Original 1st printing 14 x 16&7/8" concert poster for Love (featuring Arthur Lee) appearing with Mad River, Zephyr (featuring Tommy Bolin) and the Cleanliness and Godliness Skiffle Band at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 2/28-3/2/1969.

 Art by Bill Holloway, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 110 (plate 2.28) and is part of the Soundproof Presents/Avalon series. 

 Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a light 2 x 1" discoloration/moisture stain in the lower left corner, a thin horizontal stress bend in the right center margin, a couple of ultra-tiny bends in the lower right corner tip, a stray fingerprint or two and a light amount of surface scuffing, otherwise fine. 

 A SUPERB-looking example of this somewhat unusual image from the Soundproof/Avalon series.
