Original 1st printing (Fantasy Unlimted 1968) 28&1/2 x 22&1/2" uncut printer's proof sheet (concert poster + TEN (10) handbills) for the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing with Sly & the Family Stone (not listed) at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York City on 5/10/1968. Art by David Edward Byrd, image (single poster) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 157 (plate 2.90) and is the 7th image in the BG/FE series. Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there is a light degree of fading/toning (there is a thin 1/16-1/4" sliver of dark orange matte burn (the original dark orange hue) going around the extreme outer margin area), along with 2-3" areas of diagonal creasing in the upper left/lower right, a thin bend in the top right corner tip, a 2" tear and a couple of tiny creases in the right center margin (sealed on the reverse with archival tape), a tiny pin-prick surface spot or two, a couple of thin vertical stress bends/creases hiding within the image area and a couple of archival tape remnants on the reverse, otherwise fine. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE-LOOKING unissued printer's proof sheet of the ORIGINAL 1st-printing FE #7 poster with TEN handbills/cards. ONLY one of these I have ever seen in almost 25 years.
