Pair of original 1st printing 4&1/8 x 7" postcard-backed (black "place stamp here" box) concert handbills for Cream appearing with the MC5 and Carousel on 6/7/1968, with Nickel Plate Express and St. Louis Union on 6/8/1968 and with the James Gang and Thyme on 6/19/1968, and Steppenwolf appearing with Three Dog Night from 2/28-3/1/1969 and Three Dog Night appearing with MC5 on 3/2/1969, all shows held at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI.

 Art by Gary Grimshaw and Melkus, images are #'s 88 (Cream) and 129 (Steppenwolf) in the Russ Gibb Presents/Grande series. 

 Medium-thin flat vellum stock cards are both in in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; the Cream card has a soft diagonal bend on the upper left corner, a hint of handling and a tiny pencil scratch on the reverse, the Steppenwolf card is mostly clean.

 GREAT-looking pair of ORIGINAL Grande cards in really nice shape.
