Original 1st printing 13 x 19&7/8" concert poster for "Deed of Shame- A Beautiful Thing", a multi-act show featuring the Friendly Stranger appearing with Iron Butterfly (early appearance) and Motley Crew (not the LA metal-glam band) at Vets Memorial Hall in Oakland, CA on 9/24/1966. 

 Art by Becket, medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; tack/pin holes in the top/bottom center margin and on the "e" of "Shame", a few thin edge/corner creases, a trio of 1/2" tears in the left/bottom center margins, a few stray pinch bends/small creases here and there, light handling wear, a few tiny pin-prick splatter stains on "Iron Butterfly" and a subtle degree of toning, otherwise fine.

 

 Neat little late-'66 oddball piece from a tiny one-off show in Oakland.
