Original 1st printing 17 x 22" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing at Shea's Theater in Buffalo, NY on 1/20/1979.

 Design by Andrew Elias, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 406 (plate 4.230).

 Medium-thick vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; a 1" tear in the bottom margin (just beneath the "y" of "January"), light to moderate creasing and a few tiny edge nicks/tears along the left/right margins, a series of tiny pin-prick age spots and a small black scuff above the second "e" of "event", a few stray handling dings, a slight curl to the paper and a tiny pull in the upper left margin, otherwise fine.

 As a note of provenance, this poster originally belonged to a long-time GD crew member who worked at these shows (and MANY others). CLASSIC original 1st printing late-'70's Grateful Dead poster from the AOR with a great design. Listen to the show here;
