 ITEM DESCRIPTION

Original 1st printing 17 x 11" concert poster for the May 1969 schedule of shows at the Boston Tea Party (53 Berkeley St location) in Boston, MA.

Acts listed include: the Jeff Beck Group with the Nice (featuring Keith Emerson, 5-6-8), Poco with Family (5/9-12), the Who with (Rahsaan) Roland Kirk (5/13-15), Joe Cocker & the Grease Band with (Rahsaan) Roland Kirk (5/16-17), the Bonzo Dog Band with It's A Beautiful Day (5/22-24), Led Zeppelin with Zephyr (featuring Tommy Bolin, 5/27-29), Velvet Underground with the Allman Brothers Basnd (5/30-31) and Delaney & Bonnie and Friends with the Serfs (6/5-7).

Art by Eric Engstrom, medium-thick flat index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; thin tape mark shadows in the upper left/right margins, a series of hairline-thin  vertical stress bends running up and down the left side of the image area,a hint odf surface wear and a few ultra-tiny edge bends, otherwise fine .

INCREDIBLE mid-'69 Tea Party schedule featuring a virtual "who's-who" of the late 1960's rock scene. VERY, VERY uncommon Who/Zeppelin.Velvets/Allmans/Tea Party item, you really get a LOT of bang for your buck on this one. HISTORIC!
