Original 1st printing 19&3/8" x 29&3/4" concert poster for Traffic (with Steve Winwood) appearing on 9/24/1967 (their UK debut) and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (featuring future Rolling Stone Mick Taylor) appearing with (Peter Green's) Fleetwood Mac(k) and Long John Baldry on 9/17/1967, both shows held at the Saville Theatre in London, England.
Design by Hapshash & the Coloured Coat (Michael English and Nigel Waymouth), image is the second image in Brian Epstein's "Sunday at the Saville" (OAS) series and is featured in the Art of Rock on page 312 (plate 3.188).
Medium to medium-thin flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; aside from a tiny 1/2 tears in the bottom center margin, a light amount of handling, a few thin stress bends and minor corner/edge creases, a few scattered tiny edge nicks/tiny tears and a bit of moisture rippling along the top of the image area, otherwise fine.
Unlike the other Saville posters (Hendrix/Floyd, Hendrix/Burdon, Who/Junior Walker), this image wasn't reprinted, making it one of the harder-to-find posters in the series. Additionally, this example has been HAND-SIGNED (in purple sharpie pen) by Dave Mason (Traffic) and John Mayall!
