 ITEM DESCRIPTION
Original 1st printing 14 x 21&1/8" concert poster for Cream (Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker) appearing with Blood, Sweat and Tears (featuring Al Kooper, his only tour with the band), Jeremy (Steig) and the Satyrs and the James Cotton Blues Band at the Fillmore Auditorium on 3/7/1968 and at Winterland from 3/8-10/1968, all shows held in San Francisco, CA.

Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Stanley Mouse, image is # 110 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series. This is a BROWN-INK (blue ticket outlet strip) variant/printer's test proof with an overprint (BG 115/KMPX Super Ball) on the reverse (see photo).

Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in good (B) condition; tack/staple holes (all four corners), a pair of thin vertical hairline creases extending from the top margin into the "r" and "a" of "Cream", a moderate degree of toning/light aging,  astray pinch ding/thin stress bend or two, a large vertical crease extending from the bottom of the "a" of "Cream" down to the top of "McKay's", a thin 1" thick strip along the bottom border that is not toned (including the ticket outlet strip), a few stray stress creases/thin bends and the aforementioned printing on the reverse, otherwise fine. This is the ONLY example I have seen with this particular inking pattern (most are a dark brown/black).

MEGA-COOL and unique version of this classic Cream image, this could very possibly be a one-of-a-kind test proof- I certainly haven't seen another like it.
