Original 1st printing (union logo #72) 14 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the Mothers of Invention (featuring Frank Zappa) and Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA from 6/3-4/1966.
Art by (and SIGNED in black sharpie by) Wes Wilson, image is # 9 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a few tiny staple holes in each corner and in the right center margin (just inside the left edge of the artwork), a VERY light edge discoloration and a series of tiny pressure creases along the extreme upper left margin, a touch of toning and a couple of ULTRA-thin vertical creases along the lower right edge, otherwise it is an absolutely STUNNING example of this VERY early Bill Graham poster with a nice large artist's signature.
This was the Grateful Dead's first appearance on a numbered Fillmore poster.
