Original 1st/only printing 22&1/2 x 28&1/2" concert poster for the Thingies appearing with the South Canadian Overflow on 11/17/1967 and Shiva's Head Band with S.C.O. on 11/18/1967, both shows held at the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin, TX on 1/5-6/1968. 

 Art by underground comix legend Gilbert Shelton ("Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers", "Wonder Warthog"), image ("White Girl") is # 4 in the VG/Vulcan Gas Company series.

 Thick flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; tack holes (all four corners), a light to moderate degree of toning, a series of thin horizontal roll creases traversing the image area, a few tiny edge tears around the outer margins with a pair of wedge nips (under 1/8") out of the upper upper left margin, a couple of tiny stains in the right center margin and a hint of surface wear, otherwise fine.

 Not perfect, but still a very nice-looking example of one of the EARLIEST Vulcan Gas images featuring a great Gilbert Shelton design.
